Introducing Feedback Collection in the LaunchNotes Embedded Widget
Collect feedback from your users where they’re already working — directly within your app or website.
We’re excited to announce one of our most highly requested features: feedback collection in the LaunchNotes Embedded Widget! Now, it’s easier than ever for your customers and stakeholders to share their thoughts, helping you capture valuable insights at the exact moment they think of it!
Why feedback collection in the widget?
Collecting feedback at the right moment makes it more relevant and actionable. By adding feedback collection directly into the embedded widget, you reduce friction for your users, making it seamless for them to share what they think. Whether it's leaving feedback on an announcement, a roadmap item, or a general suggestion, your users can now do so without leaving your product.
How It works
Feedback collection is controlled via the same setting as feedback forms on your LaunchNotes audience page — no extra setup required.
When enabled, the option to leave feedback appears directly within the embedded widget: in a footer on the primary view and within each announcement, roadmap item, and idea page.
Submitted feedback is automatically sent to your feedback inbox in the LaunchNotes management portal, pre-organized based on where it was submitted.
Availability
Feedback collection will be available starting Monday, February 24, 2025 in the latest version of the embed.
This functionality will not be available in older versions of the embed, so be sure to upgrade to access this feature.
