Really Simple Syndication (RSS) feeds for public pages on LaunchNotes
Test
RSS feeds are perfect for delivering content that regularly changes. In the case of LaunchNotes, regularly changing web content comes in the form of announcements.
Slack and messaging applications
With RSS feeds, you’ll be able to automatically post announcements from LaunchNotes in popular communication platforms such as Slack, Teams, Discord, and RSS readers. For Slack, RSS is a built-in feature available in any channel, and it does not require installing an app.
Zapier and integration platforms
RSS also works as a trigger with integration platforms like Zapier, IFTTT, Microsoft Power Automate, and Workato. We’re building the feature functionality to enable posting announcements directly to social media (LinkedIn, Twitter), and the opportunity to automate personal emails every time an announcement is published.
LaunchNotes API & integration platforms
Leveraging the LaunchNotes RSS feed, an integration platform like Zapier, and the LaunchNotes GraphQL API in combination can unlock even more capabilities. This makes it possible to trigger cross-project actions, like triggering a webhook to create a draft of a public announcement whenever a private announcement is published.
