A Smarter Way to Organize and Communicate Product Updates

We’re excited to unveil Labels, a powerful new feature designed to enhance how you categorize and share your product updates. Labels add context and clarity to your announcements and roadmap items, making it easier than ever for your audience to stay informed and engaged.

      Why Labels?

Labels let you go beyond categories to provide richer, more tailored communication. Whether it’s a New Feature, Improvement, or Bug Fix, Labels help ensure every update resonates with precision.

What you can do with Labels

      • Create custom labels: Match Labels to your team's workflow, such as "Security Update" or "Performance Improvement."

      • Assign multiple labels: Add as many Labels as needed to announcements and roadmap items for maximum context.

      • Display prominently: Labels appear alongside categories to give your audience an instant understanding of the update’s focus.

      Enhanced navigation and consistency

Labels take your product communication strategy to the next level, empowering your audience with tools to explore updates effortlessly:

      • Filter content by Labels and Categories: Users can quickly find what they’re looking for—whether on your page, widget, or email.

      • Consistent across channels: From emails to Slack notifications, Labels ensure your updates stay clear and consistent everywhere.

      Plan requirements

Labels is currently available for organizations on the Premium tier of LaunchNotes. Please refer to the LaunchNotes pricing page for pricing and packaging details, or reach out to our team to learn more about how to get access to this feature.

      Feedback

Labels was a request from a number of LaunchNotes customers to help them better manage their product updates across multiple product lines and better pinpoint where change was occurring in their product for their customers and internal teams. Let us know what you think and how you might use labels.
