Introducing LaunchNotes Control for Chrome

Customer and stakeholder feedback and the insights gleaned from that feedback are the lifeblood of product development at any organization, particularly for software-driven companies. So today’s feature release is a proud moment for the LaunchNotes team as it marks another feature that builds out our feedback capabilities: LaunchNotes Control for Chrome is an extension for collecting customer feedback and insights anywhere on the web.

But before we get into that, we’d also like to celebrate that this is the third major feature release of this week: Roadmap Reports (Monday), Outbound Webhooks (Wednesday), and today, LaunchNotes Control for Chrome!

LaunchNotes Control for Chrome

The LaunchNotes Control for Chrome extension provides your team another arrow in the quiver for the way you collect and manage customer feedback. With its capability to gather information from across the web, LaunchNotes Control for Chrome allows you and your team to gather insights and feedback wherever inspiration strikes you on the internet. The result is a more efficient, responsive, and customer-focused approach to address customer needs swiftly. 

The LaunchNotes Control for Chrome extension is now available on the Chrome web store.

Key functionality 

• Interactive feedback recording: Capture customer feedback in two ways – by highlighting relevant text on web pages or by typing feedback within the extension. This flexibility ensures ease of use in various contexts.

• Capture source URL: Automatically includes a link to the source page's URL with every feedback submission. This feature works seamlessly with tools like Intercom and Zendesk, connecting feedback with its original ticket for easy reference.

• Attribute feedback recorder: Each piece of feedback includes the user that recorded it, keeping them informed from initial collection to final resolution.

• Assign criticality: Mark the importance of each feedback item, allowing for more effective filtering and prioritization in your workflow.

• Attach feedback to ideas and roadmap items: Link feedback directly to relevant work items, whether they're announcements, roadmap items, or ideas.

• Keyboard shortcut: Within the Google Extensions icon in your browser, create a shortcut for quick access to LaunchNotes Control for Chrome.
