Smarter Subscriptions and Collaborative Editing

This announcement provides a sneak-peak into two features we’re building. First up: Phase 2 of subscriber management enhancements, currently in progress and will ship in the coming weeks. Second up will be Collaborative Editing, now in Beta. Let’s get into the details.

Subscriber Management, phase 2

On January 28th, we shipped our first batch of subscriber management enhancements to find, filter, and update your subscriber base at scale. We're now working on the other side of that equation—the signup experience itself.

Coming soon, new subscribers will be prompted to select the categories that are most relevant to them to complete the sign-up process to a LaunchNotes page. 

This will give subscribers more control over what lands in their inbox, while giving you cleaner segmentation and more precise targeting when announcing new features and enhancements. Win-win!

In the management portal, an admin will have the option to hide specific categories from the sign-up modal, so subscribers only see what's relevant to them. Running multiple product lines? Keeping certain categories internal? This handles it without extra pages or workarounds.

Together, these two updates will lay the groundwork for future enhancements to the analytics we provide, enabling richer insights into subscriber activity and engagement.

Collaborative Editing is now in Beta

Collaborative Editing lets your team work on the same announcement at the same time, without worrying about overwriting each other's work. Live cursors and carets show exactly who's editing and where they’re editing.
