Long form announcements can be difficult to read in email, and subscribers have no incentive to click through the email.
Replacing the full content of an announcement with only the excerpt will drive subscribers to click through to the full announcement - providing a better reading experience and a clearer signal of intent.
Experience more rich content
Subscribers will experience more rich content, like videos and embedded content, when viewing the announcement on the web, vs. in email. For announcements that rely on rich content to communicate updates, this can be a significant level up.

The setting will live at the page-level, so that your team can stay consistent with how announcements are being communicated to subscribers.
