Cohort Segmentation for Announcements

Product teams often need to deliver updates to specific subscriber groups—beyond the limitations of category-based preferences. This feature, which we will introduce in Beta, is a way to define and send announcements directly to custom cohorts, giving teams more control over who sees what.

The first iteration of cohort targeting supports email notifications only—Slack and other channels are not included.

Customers will be able to:

• Define custom subscriber cohorts (by individual or domain)

• Send announcements directly to those cohorts, regardless of the categories those subscribers follow

Cohorts will be available on Premium and Enterprise plans when the feature is released.
